- To improve the quality of life of Parkinson’s disease patients and their caregivers;
- To educate patients, caregivers and the general public about the benefits of maintaining an active lifestyle after a Parkinson’s diagnosis;
- To support research dedicated to prevention and treatment of Parkinson’s disease.
For those patients or caregivers who are interested we provide individual and tandem cycling opportunities. We will develop customized cycling training programs that aim to improve overall motor function of Parkinson’s patients. Parkinson’s patients, their caregivers and “healthy” individuals are welcome to join us in organized rides and bike tours across various states. Future plans include sponsoring cycling races and local rides to raise funds and awareness for Parkinson’s disease. |
