Congratulations two new Colorado YMCA PFP programs!

Two YMCA Pedaling for Parkinson's programs are on-line in Colorado in Denver and Arvada.

The Denver location at Schlessman YMCA has been active for over a year. The Arvada location at Susan Duncan YMCA will start on June 1, 2016.

Have fun making a difference! From beginner to advanced athlete, you will have a blast burning calories while raising money for Parkinson's disease research! Just $15 for 30 minutes on the bike or ride for an hour for $25! You can also collect donations from family and friends. Pedaling for Parkinson's is committed to advancing our understanding of how physical activity and high cadence cycling positively impacts the motor symptoms associated with Parkinson's disease.

Date: Sunday, August 3rd
Time: 11am - 2pm (choose your own duration and start time)
Cost: $15 for 30min or $25 for 1 hour
Donations also accepted and there's super cool t-shirts for sale!

Parkinson's disease is a chronic and progressive movement disorder. It's thought that a combination of genetics and environmental factors play a role in triggering it. Nearly a million people in the U.S. are living with the disorder. We'll examine Parkinson’s disease and the latest in treatment options. Plus a look at a unique movement program for people with Parkinson’s at local YMCA's.
